For actor Angela Griffin, having kids is just like living with her best mates. And, having spent most of this year in lockdown with her husband, Jason Milligan, and their two daughters, Tallulah, 16, and Melissa, 13, it sounds like the family had a great time!

Soap fans will remember Angela as Fiona Middleton in Coronation Street – a role she briefly revisited last year for the first time since 1998. But there’s one thing stopping Angela, 44, from making a full-time return to the cobbles. We find out what it is…

Hi Angela! How did you get on in lockdown this year?

There have been fractious moments, but for the majority of the time, we all got on. What we found worked for us was to have some kind of routine, so we were all getting up in the morning and doing the Joe Wicks workouts – whether we wanted to or not! Then everyone was allowed to go and do their own thing, but we’d always come together for meals so we could have family time and chat about our day.
