Unlike so many people in the public eye, Judy Finnigan was only too happy to retire, preferring life away from the TV rat race, the endless flashbulbs and the constant fear of being replaced.
Happily married to her partner of 35 years, co-presenter Richard Madeley, Judy, 73, has revealed that, since quitting the world of telly in 2015, her family and friends are now her main priority. She has said, ‘I think the older you get, the more you realise that life is about the people you love most.’
Her daughter Chloe, 35, is expecting her first baby with her husband, former England rugby player James Haskell, and although Judy already has three grandchildren, she’ll want to be there to provide a support system for Chloe. But with Richard back in the fast lane at ITV’s Good Morning Britain, could this mean their priorities are torn?
