Prince Harry and Meghan’s decision to turn their backs on their royal duties in return for a more private life in Canada has ruffled the feathers of just about everyone – including Judy Finnigan.
As a journalist and broadcaster, Judy has followed the life of the prince for years. Having watched on the sidelines as he coped with the death of his mother and rejoiced when he met the love of his life, Meghan Markle, Harry is Judy’s ‘favourite prince’. Hence why she’s feeling like a ‘cross mum’ watching ‘Megxit’.
With Prince Harry, 35, claiming the decision to step back is a ‘leap of faith’ and one that brings him ‘great sadness’ – Judy believes Meghan, 38, is the driving force behind the bold move, as she says, ‘I can’t help feeling that this is all her deal.’
So is Harry’s own wife careering him towards breaking point?
MEGHAN’S WAY OR THE HIGHWAY
