Take the family… glamping

If you think a camping holiday means sleeping on rock-solid ground in pocked-sized tents, then think again. Set in the lush Hampshire countryside, located just 13 miles from the cathedral city of Salisbury, is Gambledown Farm, where roughing it is definitely not on the menu.

So what’s different? To start with, their four African-style safari tents are pure luxury. They’re pre-erected, sleep six and are situated in a quiet corner of the farm with stunning views across the Test Valley.

Each tent has its own kitchen with running water, a king-sized bed (plus a second bedroom with the choice of either twin beds or a bunk bed) and – wait for it – an indoor flushing toilet!
