We all need a bit of light relief at the moment, so the combination of TV star Caroline Quentin and Strictly will no doubt do us a world of good.
With national restrictions still in place due to the ongoing pandemic, we’re sure that this year’s series of the BBC hit dancing show is certainly going to be different. So it’s nice to know there will be a friendly face on the telly in the shape of the Men Behaving Badly star and co-presenter of The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes.
And, given how bleak things have been in recent months, Caroline feels blessed to be able to provide some much-needed entertainment for the loyal Strictly fans.
‘People are really envious of my position of being able to be here,’ she admits. ‘They’re longing for the joy of it, the sparkles, the comedy and the fun.’
Caroline lives with her husband, Sam, and their two children in Devon, and she’s making a huge sacrifice to be on the show, including living apart from her family and joining the Strictly ‘bubble’.
