Why You'll Love... Rye

The medieval town of Rye is a window on to a historic past. We spent our time happily strolling around the cobbled streets and immersing ourselves in a location that feels like stepping back in time.

What to do

There’s plenty to explore in this east Sussex town, two miles from the sea at Camber Sands. We started our day off with brunch at The Fig café, where you can indulge in traditional eggs Benedict while enjoying garden views that resemble scenes from a Jane austen novel.
