First of all, you are absolutely terrifying in your new TV drama Dr Death...

Thanks. I’ll take that because if a show like Dr Death isn’t terrifying, then I’ve done something terribly wrong [laughs].

Is it true that, if it wasn’t for the pandemic, you might not have been in this show at all?

That is true. Production got shut down one day before shooting was initially due to start and then, during the downtime, the actor who was originally cast didn’t feel right about moving his family to New York anymore because of the pandemic. Suddenly, this amazing job opened up and I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.

Do you see your character, Dr Christopher Duntsch, as evil, incompetent or both?
