As Angelina Jolie joined her children for a day out at Disneyland recently, onlookers couldn’t help but stare. Yes, she’s one of the world’s most famous women, but the reason for their gasps was the actress’ shocking weight loss.

With reports that the skeletal 42-year-old has dropped to an alarming 41kg, Woman’s Day can reveal that the star is being urged to check into rehab if she hopes to keep custody of her children. The star admitted to neglecting her health in the wake of her shock divorce from Brad Pitt.

“Angelina is in a bad way,” tells an insider. “She’s battling unbelievably bad anxiety and is taking a cocktail of medication just to get through the day. Her friends and family are doing their best to help and support her, but the reality is, she needs professional help. They fear she’s on the brink of a serious mental breakdown.”

Our insider says Angelina’s lawyers – who are working on her battle for sole custody of their children, Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – have advised her to check into rehab so that she’s fighting fit when facing off against Brad.
