When the news broke that singer Selena Gomez had rekindled her romance with love rat Justin Bieber, the reaction from her family was swift – and vicious!

After seeing the pair enjoy a string of dates, including trips to church and a cosy bike ride, the furious Gomez clan lashed out at the pop brat, who famously smashed Selena’s heart to smithereens the first time they dated.

One family member, who asked not to be named, spits, “Justin is a vile human and will never be accepted by us. As long as she is even speaking to him, it is disrespectful to everyone around her and it is disrespectful to her.”

A Gomez family insider adds, “To say they’re not thrilled is an understatement – especially given that Selena told them after they’d split for good that he’d cheated on her more than once. He caused her so much grief!”

But we’re told that Justin, 23, has high hopes of proving to Selena, 25, and her family that he’s a changed man and bears no resemblance to the bad boyfriend who dated the “Hands to Myself” singer on and off from 2010 to 2014. The couple reportedly did a lot of soul-searching after Selena became dangerously ill with lupus, an autoimmune disease that attacked her kidneys. Her best friend, actress Francia Raisa, 29, bravely donated Selena one of her kidneys in June this year.
