She’s learnt some lessons in love – and she’s using them!

Lesina Nakhid-Schuster never planned leaving The Bachelorette New Zealand single, and the experience left her totally disheartened. “The show made me not want to date anyone,” she confesses.

But fast-forward a few months and the good doctor, 32, reveals to Woman’s Day she’s recently been on dates with two different guys in Canberra, where she’s been working, and surprised herself by enjoying them!

“They were nothing serious, but they were good, fun dates,” Lesina admits. “They weren’t my people, but I really liked the new me. I’m taking what I’ve learnt from the show and I’m applying it. I feel lighter and wiser. I’m more open to and excited about meeting someone.”
