Peace At Last! - Little Archie Heals The Rift

A week after welcoming their adorable baby Archie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have broken their ban on visitors to introduce him to his aunt and uncle, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

In the clearest sign yet that the brothers’ bitter rift is thawing, Prince Harry and Meghan invited Prince William, 36, and Kate, 37, into their home, Frogmore Cottage, where they’re said to have spent an emotional hour cuddling the newest family member.

“The visit was only brief, but William and Kate were delighted to meet little Archie,” tells our source. “The tension just seemed to melt away and William couldn’t help but shed a tear over his little brother becoming a dad, so they all joked how he’d become a bit soft in his old age.”

And as earlier reported in Woman’s Day, Meghan, 37, is believed to be adhering to the Chinese tradition of confinement for 40 days after giving birth, turning down virtually all visitors other than family and resting as much as possible while she bonds with baby Archie.

She’s told friends she’s never felt anything like the love she has for her baby boy, who was born a week overdue on May 6.

“Meghan is loving every minute of motherhood,” claims the source. “She’s breastfeeding around the clock and getting up in the night to him, just like any other mum. Harry, too, is amazingly hands-on. He’s already calling himself the chief nappy-changer!”
