In real life, though, South African-born Kerry-Lee Dewing is fit, fabulous and has been well and truly bitten by the travel bug. We chatted to the naturally gorgeous screen star about her beauty routine and how she looks after herself.

What was your first experience with beauty?

Needing stage make-up for dance shows was a conveniently valid reason to have a substantial little girl’s kit to play with from a young age – mainly glitter and loud eye shadow colours. I also had a professional-looking nail station in my bedroom and I’d recruit my friends to be clients!
