How you can add to it now!
Water is a precious natural resource and we are fast losing it. Urbanisation, unnecessary luxuries, and thoughtlessness towards the way we use this valuable life-giving reserve have led to the diminishing levels in the water bodies. Adding to this bleak picture are global environmental issues which result in scanty rains increasing the loss further. Indiscriminate use of groundwater sources is fast depleting them; the aquifers are hardly being recharged. The result of all this is the ghastly situation of our taps running dry.
Your responsibility too
Many of us are aware of the pathetic situation. “What can we do?” may be your surmise. “It needs path breaking reforms which are sadly not in our hands,” you conclude. Instead of waiting for changes, why not be more responsible and contribute to the change? After all, tiny droplets do make a mighty ocean.
