Is It Okay To Gain Weight?

In today’s hustle and bustle we all want to have fabulous bodies for ourselves in order to have an amazing personality and self acceptance from everyone. However, it is not okay at the cost of our own health which would even lead to eating disorders. Everyone has a different body type with a certain limit to gaining weight and being a little healthy is completely all right.

One does not always have to comply with the social norms of being thin because many times the people who look thin and glamorous could be really weak and frail from within.

There are a few steps which one could follow for a healthy weight management:

Do not skip meals:

Skipping meals does not really help in weight reduction, rather it leads to weight gain. Missing your meal makes your metabolism slow and tries to store more fat. One can have small, healthy meals in a day to keep the metabolism going which could include more of fresh green leafy vegetables and fruits.

In summers watermelon can be added to one’s diet as it helps in reducing the unnecessary toxins from the body.
