Non-Invasive Anti-Ageing Treatments

It appears that the age-old desire of people in general and ladies in particular to retain their beauty till eternity is gradually tending towards reality. While the old cultures used to look up to the wisdom, patience and life experience of the elders, age has nowadays turned into something people try to camouflage at all costs.

As the skin gets older, there are visible changes in the epidermal layer, which we detect in the form of lines, wrinkles or folds. Freckles and age spots are common as the skin’s ability to regenerate gets weaker. There is also a decrease of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid - which are vital for a tight skin – as well as a reduction of the fat layer. This is the simple reason why our facial structure starts to sag, and our cheeks become hollow. Ageing of the skin is not solely due to external factors. It can be related to hormonal changes; genetics, naturally changing rates of production of collagen and elastin; and often repeated movements which result in frown and smile lines. Anyhow nothing much can be done about preventing this type of ageing. All hope is not lost, as we can do things to minimise the appearance of the signs of intrinsic ageing.
