Single And Not Ever Ready To Mingle!

Single ladies are thankful for their life and the freedom they love. Gone are those days when women married in their early 20s. Too often we hear something like “Oh, you are just 29”, so we shouldn’t be talking marriage. These singletons who aren’t bothered or overly conscious about the ticking biological clock even when the society isn’t comfy with the ‘single’ status. Yet marriage does not in any way define their identity. Not that all singles have a history. Otherwise women have stories of past dumping, cheating and ‘almost married’ instances. Enthusiastic and lively, these women live life fully without having to compromise on anything at all, enjoying the respect and good will of friends who have become their family.

Most of these ambitious singletons want to be a ‘sweetheart’ also not just to somebody but to men with looks, values and intelligence. Personally, I see ‘all the single ladies’ more optimistic, energetic and determined with more sleep and fewer illnesses because they don’t really worry about ways of outsmarting their DNA to stay so. Tackling a dating crisis or a misstep or an arranged marriage dilemma or a late realisation of flaws doesn’t deter this single lot from eventually reinforcing the belief that walking in shadows will never mean finding joy and sustenance. So, marriage is never going to be a family or social obligation. It’s not about changing rules, it’s simply about staying in bed as long as you want to, packing up and heading for a resort then and there, having the pet of your choice, indulging in your fondness for anything without having to answer a 501 rapid fire question session. No married or intellectually evolved woman greets a single with awkwardness because only she knows the price paid for freedom.
