Ravi had his primary education in a remote village in Tamil Nadu and then moved on to the nearest town and then to the metropolitan city of Chennai for his graduation. Being the first gen to get educated, he had to strive hard at each step, as upgrading himself and mingling with peer group of friends, wasn't an easy task for him. Through his college roommate, he started watching 'Anime', a Japanese animated series and got motivated to learn the Japanese language. He visited the Indo- Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IJCCI), got himself enrolled into basic Japanese language learning level-N5 and came out with flying colours. So he eagerly studied the next level N4.
