Unlike petals on a thorny rose bud, the flowers of equality suck when they wilt.
Women are constantly fighting the unending war against harassment and inequality. Unending but always beginning.
How many brothers out there can say, “While I was walking down the street I was insulted by a man after I politely turned down his offer of a lift?” Ask the same question to the sisters.
How many men can divulge, “I went for a job interview today, and before I got into the building I was groped by the security guard?” Ask the same question to ladies.
How many men can say, “I was promised the promotion I badly wanted but I just had to do ‘that one thing’?” Ask the same question to women.
Sure, the war for women's equal rights is ongoing and has been since eeeehm.. since time immemorial. It is also pleasing to note that some men have also actively joined the feminism bandwagon.
That is because feminism means a million things to a million people.
