As the dogs of varied breeds, shapes and sizes, some in attire, others in their birthday suits, walked into Radio Club on the weekend of Mar 11 and 12, you could tell it was going to be an affair to remember. And it was! With leading brands in the pet service and care industry and NGOs from across the city all lined up, along with games by a pet behaviourist, paw reading by a tarot card reader, free grooming and spa sessions, free medical checkups, paw printing and dog art, a pet studio and more... Dog A'Fair was a fun carnival, indeed.
Upon entering the attractive seaside pier, the cutest little pups and rabbits were up for adoption at the Adoption Pound set up by d&m along with NGOS YODA & WFA. You would have spotted a few of them in colourful bandanas, proffered by P&P (Pet & Parents) which were handed out to every dog that entered the fair. Walk into the fair and the D&M Pet Studio was at your disposal to frame that pretty face with fun props like toy cars and little chairs. Pet parents could convert the image into souvenirs of their choice - from canvases to mouse pads to mugs, what have you. There was paw printing as well, along with a 360° rotating selfie point, both by Heads Up For Tails (HUFT) which had pet parents flocking to try out something new for their furry ones.
