For Pooja Bihani of Spaces and Design, the play of natural light is like energy. Something she likes to infuse in every space she designs, be it a home or an office. This office for a chemical businessman is no different. “The moment you enter the office, the large hall gives an illusion of a space donning a significantly crisp and formal look,” shares Bilani. The highlight of the office however are the modules of panels in a box concept which exude materiality to the hilt. Solid wood is used for frames but not in a typical paneling. The idea was to create a concept for every room by building a module of 18”x 7.5”, where every room was given a particular material. These materials would be enclosed in the rectangular modules and that is why it is called a box office,” says Pooja.
ECLECTIC INTERIORS
The boxes are infused with high-quality Brazilian quartzin the reception area, which also has diagonal wooden finish flooring. To add to the drama, the colour palette consists of three colours: teak, grey, and black, and the reception tables and panels are designed in the same style.
