Spread across 8 halls, 230,00 sq m of exhibiting space with 1600 flooring producers and brands showcasing their latest innovations in the flooring industry, Domotex Asia was buzzing with products that are here to set the trends for future developments. Despite the current economic challenges around the world, the show's visitation remained robust, with 83,850 professional visitors coming from 117 different countries. As already anticipated from the progress of the pre-registration numbers, it registered a remarkable increase of international visitors by 25 per cent over the previous year, reaching a total of 17,923 and surpassing the record number of the 2019 edition, making the show more international than ever.
SUSTAINABILITY RULED
We saw a keen interest among buyers in products from sustainably sourced wood, bamboo and cork. The event also proved to be a great platform to discover trends, colours and preferences in wooden flooring where oak emerged as the most popular choice internationally. When it comes to designer wooden flooring, companies are now providing different shapes of flooring tiles to experiment with, fostering creativity and encouraging uniqueness.
