On the grounds of "Aamrai", a residence in the heart of Pune city besides city pride in Kothrud, holds a grove of mango trees. The area below its foliage was chosen as the site. So as to not harm any of the root structures of the mango trees, floating plinths were planned.

Form finished concrete with wooden texture was chosen for few walls so that the structure blends with the natural setting of the site.

Markings were done on all the tree branches at roof level to see which can be retained and which have to be cut, the structure was planned so as to have minimal trimming of existing branches. This allows the structure to merge and blend with the trees.
