Q. You have been in the business for 17 years now. How has your journey been so far and what was the turning point in this entire journey?
A. We started pretty early in 2006. The idea was to cater to the heavy vehicles sold by OEMs, especially the CNG vehicles. So we catered to some CNG-fitted trucks and some new buses when CNG systems were not set yet. All thanks to the results we were able to engineer and supply that system at a competitive rate with the requirements of 12-year maintenance which was previously unheard of so that for us was the major turning point in the CNG system. We’ve seen many challenges along the way. In terms of alternate fuels when we started we were probably 100 from the list to meet the customer. Today we are in the top five to meet the customer because everybody is looking at alternate power trains. We’ve seen the evolution of commercial vehicles with small commercial vehicles in both gas and now in electrics. So it’s been quite an encouraging and interesting journey so far.
Q. Which segment do you get maximum traction from?
