The Bombay Exhibition Centre (Mumbai) hosted hosted industry experts, decision-makers, and security enthusiasts from across India at the second annual edition of the 'Security and Fire Expo 2024'. At Nesco, held from May 09-11, the venue was transformed into the region's largest and most influential congregation in the region. Organiser Informa Markets said to have been dedicated to security and surveillance for the betterment of society for 17 consecutive years reiterated an ongoing commitment that underscores their role in promoting advancements and innovation in the field, contributing to a safer and more secure community extending to automotive. With a diverse array of participants in attendance, from exhibitors, consultants, industry experts, and key government officials from both India and overseas, advanced, high-tech products related to both security and fire safety were showcased together on a single platform at the expo.
The Business to-Business (B2B) event didn't disappoint and was an eye opener for visitors. According to a committee member, the number of visitors this year marked a rise of 30 per cent over the previous edition.
The expo was home to over 75 global brands, including major players like Panasonic India, TP-Link India, Hikvision and Prama India among prominent Indian brands specialising in various security technologies. These technologies included CCTV surveillance systems, biometrics, access control, GPS, Wi-Fi routers, spy cameras, power supplies, dash cameras, and more.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the event also hosted an exclusive two-day conference titled "Intelligent Security Tech for a Safer Future." This conference attracted more than 40 speakers and 5,000 trade visitors.
