The mega on-ground automotive extravaganza the AutoExpo Components Show 2023-was back at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi after a gap of three years and proved to be a melting pot of established as well as young automotive companies from around the world.
More than 800 suppliers and vendors, who are manufacturers of a myriad parts and purveyors of technologies, from across 15 nations made their presence felt with renewed enthusiasm after the forced Covid-19 lull. To the visitor, it was a peek and plenty more into the future technological trends and innovations that are set to determine the industry's direction toward a sustainable future and sustained growth.
The four-day-long January 12-15) event's theme Technovation an amalgamation of technology and innovation, was true to the kind of exhibits, wherein a major chunk belonged to the category of green solutions for vehicle electrification and created an allied ecosystem, while advanced electronics systems such as telematics, connectivity tools and ADAS also emerged as other key focus areas for the exhibitors, in line with the industry's ongoing transformation to offer greener and smarter mobility solutions.
Some renowned component majors like the US-based Stanadyne also confirmed their commitment towards the internal-combustion IC) engine and showcased their range of solutions that improve the efficiency of the IC engine for the foreseeable future, until there is a complete switchover to zero-carbon-emitting powertrain solutions across the entire mobility ecosystem.
