To increase driver engagement and to amplify the intensity of its performance, the DB12 features a shortened final drive ratio (3.083:1), plus a unique transmission&nbsp;shift calibration. The former works to deliver punchier in-gear acceleration while the latter reduces shift speeds and creates different shift characteristics. The bonded aluminium chassis is also stiffer and has a range of underbody components to improve rigidity.
The Aston Martin DB12 is available to order in India. The base price without options and personalization is Rs 4.80 crore. Deliveries will commence in the last quarter of the year.
