Your last Red Bull event run in Mumbai was 14 years ago. What is it like to be back after such a long time?
It's great to be back in India after such a long time and I am delighted to see the growth of Formula 1 in India. The warmth of the people here is exactly as I remember. It is great to see Indians being enthusiastic about FI and their passion for the sport is only growing, so it feels great to be back to perform here.
India dabbled in Formula 1 only briefly. Why, in your opinion, should the country hold a race?
I think to host a world championship, you need to be represented in all the major economies worldwide. India undoubtedly has one of the biggest populations in the world with creative minds and a lot of brainpower. India exports a lot of talent and technology globally, which is great to see. I think Formula I should be back in India and I think it will be back again at some point in the future.
What are your most treasured memories of the Mumbai Showrun in 2009? Were you taken aback by the F1 fervour you witnessed at that time?
