Red Bull places a high value on India because Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull are the only teams to have won the three races that have taken place here.
Red Bull brought the championship-winning RB7 from 2011 and 13-time Grand Prix champion David Coulthard back to Mumbai for the 2023 season to give fans another taste of what it is like to see an F1 car at close quarters.

The car's outstanding performance in the 2011 season was a result of all these technical innovations as well as the strength and dependability of the powerplant.

Red Bull have changed their RB7 to better suit its function as a show car and for photo shoots, as opposed to competing in races. A re-designed engine cover, which conducts heat but is less aerodynamically effective than the race-spec car, is one of the major modifications. Thus, the cooling for the showruns and photo sessions for which Red Bull use the car has been optimized.
