The much-awaited milestone 15th Apollo CV Awards 2024 had the bigwigs of the commercial vehicle industry gather in Mumbai on March 28, 2024. The prestigious awards are curated by Commercial Vehicle Magazine of Next Gen Publishing Pvt. Ltd. (A Shapoorji Pallonji Group Company) with the long-standing partner of 15 years - Apollo Tyres Ltd. backing it. The award ceremony was supported by Avanteum Advisors LLP and MarketsandMarkets Research Pvt. Ltd. as the Technical Partners, Mazars in India as the audit partner, and Metric Global as the research and data analytic company. Mirror Now as the telecast partner. The 2024 edition marked the business end of Financial Year 2024 (FY24). This year, there was an air of nostalgia that had stalwarts and key stakeholders of the CV industry (including Dealerships, Fleet Operators and Dealerships, Body Builders and ancillaries) reminiscing the memorable wins over the past decade and a half as they walked past the ‘Legacy Wall’ in a flashback.
In a grand reveal, the Mahindra Bolero MaXX Pickup HD and the Force Urbania bagged the coveted ‘CV of the Year’ title. Girish Wagh, Executive Director at Tata Motors Ltd., bagged the ‘CV Man of the Year’. VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. emerged as the ‘CV Maker of the Year’. The journey the industry embarked on together, and the milestones achieved in FY24 as one Industry were front and centre. The gala event had the industry gazing into the crystal ball of the future!
