FMSCI celebrated its 2022 season with its Annual Awards function in Chennai where it crowned 118 national champions of the season over various categories. This included the likes of Arjun Balu winning the Indian Touring Cars championship, RE Rajendra winning the 2W INRC title, as well as Karna Kadur and co-driver Nikhil Pai who were crowned INRC champions. Aside from awarding champions, special awards were given to Bengaluru's Pragathi Gowda, the winner of the FIA Rally Star Asia-Pacific finale in Chennai, and Shriya Lohia who finished fifth at the FIA Girls On Track event in Paris, France.
