What inspired you to pursue a career in technology and business leadership, and what was your journey to becoming the EVP, Global Technology and Chief Digital Officer at Ingram Micro?
From an early age, I was driven by curiosity and a passion for listening to people and understanding their “why.” Losing my dad at a young age fuelled my aspiration to change the world in my own way. Encouraged by my mother to challenge my limits, I pursued my dual interests in technology and business, which enhanced my leadership and teamwork abilities.
My career in digital transformation began with creating the world’s first streaming browser-based trading platform at Trade Monster, now part of E-Trade. I then moved to the logistics industry, successfully disrupting the trucking sector with a revolutionary platform.
Today, I work with an incredible team at Ingram Micro, a $50 billion global technology distributor, where we’ve developed the Ingram Micro Xvantage platform. This project has been a career highlight.
As a business and technical-minded executive, what trends do you see impacting the landscape of the channel ecosystem and how it works? And how is Ingram Micro positioned to drive, influence and respond to these changes?
Mindset drives skillset, and good business leaders understand its critical role in an organisation’s ability to innovate, execute, and succeed. At Ingram Micro, we have dedicated immense effort to fostering a growth mindset throughout our organisation.
