GO FURTHER, FASTER is not just a career guide but a holistic approach to professional and personal development. “I wish that I had written this book earlier,” muses Lulu Raghavan, who was recently elevated to the post of President, APAC of the WPP company, Landor. “I wish when I was starting in the world of work, I had a blueprint like this to say - Here are the things that you need to keep in mind - a holistic approach.”

The book is structured into three parts, covering holistic professional development, personal branding and the importance of continuous growth. But it’s the personal touch that makes Raghavan’s work even more interesting. “It’s very much like a friend talking to you and telling you like, hey, these are the things you should take care of,” she says, describing the book’s approachable tone.

Holistic Professional Growth

The first part of the book delves into holistic professional development, exploring how individuals can cultivate a well-rounded skill set that extends beyond technical expertise to include soft skills, emotional intelligence, and adaptability. The second part focuses on personal branding, a concept that has gained importance in the digital age and the third part emphasises the importance of continuous growth, acknowledging that in a rapidly professional landscape, stagnation can be detrimental to one’s career.
