Fouquet's New York

Francophiles are likely all too familiar with Fouquet’s Paris, the sumptuous and historic hotel on the Champs-Élysées that has been open since 1899.

Fouquet's New York

The property’s brasserie is a perennial mainstay for the glamorous set and one of the city’s prime people-watching spots. With Fouquet’s New York, an eye-candy property in Manhattan, Barrière, the family-owned hotel company behind the brand, is now enjoying the same success stateside—which I can confirm from a recent stay.

Located in TriBeCa, a neighborhood known for its art galleries and buzzy restaurants, Fouquet’s New York brings a welcome slice of Paris into Downtown Manhattan. From the outset it saw many eager guests and diners who are fans of Fouquet’s in Paris flock to check out its New York incarnation.

From the moment I entered the lobby, the striking design stood out. The sleek style, conceived by the internationally celebrated Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, combines the industrial chic characteristic of TriBeCa with art deco-inspired French elegance and flair. Lavender is the dominant color theme, but creams and greens are also prevalent throughout.
