Leaving corporate America to bootstrap the women's designer fashion brand Marcella, husband-and-wife duo Andy and Siyana Huszar quickly recognized that they would need to reimagine the entire fashion business model.
Adopting a conventional approach couldn't be profitable while still being ethical, sustainable, and socially impactful. As a result, Marcella rethought the fashion process from top to bottom, shrinking the time to market, minimizing textile waste, and boosting profitability, all the while advancing women and girls across the brand's every aspect, says Siyana, co-founder and chief creative officer.
Minimalist designer fashion with a mission
Marcella's distinctive "minimalism with an edge" clothing, shoes, and accessories are designed in New York City and handcrafted in Europe's traditional textile hub, Bulgaria.
