Pragun successfully established and expanded JAL's aluminium flat rolled products plant, making it the second-largest supplier in India within four years. CAN YOU PROVIDE A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF JINDAL ALUMINIUM, ITS HISTORY, AND ITS POSITION IN THE ALUMINIUM EXTRUSION INDUSTRY IN INDIA?
Dr Sitaram Jindal, my grandfather, is part of a remarkable group of five brothers who established an unparalleled industrial empire in modern India. While studying at Kolkata University, he collaborated with his brothers to establish a steel pipe factory. After successfully setting up the Kolkata factory, they established a massive steel pipe manufacturing facility (Jindal India Ltd) in Hissar, Haryana. This company was among the pioneers in large-scale steel pipe and tube production in India and has played a crucial role in India's green revolution since its inception.
