The real estate sector recently came together for a thoughtprovoking event that focused into the latest innovations and sustainable practices transforming the industry. Organised by Outlook Business in collaboration with Business Mint, the gathering featured two impactful panel discussions and an awards ceremony that recognised significant contributions to real estate.
The event began with a warm welcome address from Ms. Suchetana Ray, Editor of Outlook Business and Chief Strategy Officer at Outlook Group, who set the stage for insightful conversations on how innovation and sustainability are driving the future of real estate. Attendees had the opportunity to hear fresh perspectives from industry leaders on these important topics shaping the sector.
INNOVATIONS RESHAPING REAL ESTATE
The first panel discussion, titled “Adapting to Changing Trends: Innovations Reshaping the Real Estate Industry,” brought together prominent names from the sector to discuss how technology and emerging trends are redefining the landscape. Moderated by Amit Shanbaug, Associate Editor of Outlook Business, the panel included Y Swapna Kumar, Co-Founder & Director of Honer Homes; Boppana Atchuta Rao, MD of Anvita Group; and Krishna Bhargav Ganugapati, MD of Neemsboro Group.
Y Swapna Kumar emphasised how buyers today are more informed and environmentally conscious, with a growing preference for Green Certified buildings. “Post-pandemic, customers inquire about carbon footprints and the environmental impact of their homes,” Kumar said, underlining how sustainability is becoming a central factor in decision-making. He highlighted that this shift has been accelerated by the pandemic, as more people now consider eco-friendliness when choosing their homes.
