This year is all about elevating the coffee experience. According to a recent report, the Indian coffee scene is shifting toward convenience, craft, and conscious consumption. As Rajat Agrawal, CEO of Barista Coffee, aptly puts it, "Over the past few years, coffee has evolved from being a niche beverage to a lifestyle choice."

A Gourmet Experience, Now On-the-Go

One of the most significant trends noted in the Godrej Food Trends Report 2024 is the surge in convenient, gourmet coffee options. Over 80.8 percent of experts predict an increase in highend, specialty brews that are easy to access even for those with busy schedules. Anand Jain, Co-Founder of Nothing Before Coffee, explains: "Younger people are increasingly interested in the nuances of coffee, exploring different blends and brewing methods, and making coffee a key part of their lifestyle." As the coffee market diversifies, products like cold brews, sugar-free options, and plant-based milk are reshaping the Indian palate.
