THE GENESIS

To trace the genesis of Prak Studio, we delve into the journey of its Founder & CEO, Sai Prakash AV. After completing his M. Tech in Computer Science from BITS Hyderabad, Sai embarked on a journey in the software industry, initially joining Mobizz. However, his true passion led him to further his education with a Master’s degree in Management Studies at IIM Vishakhapatnam.

After a brief stint in Axis Bank’s Technical Division, Sai Prakash realised that his heart wasn’t in it. In his words, “I yearned for a more meaningful path that would give me a chance to create an impact.” That’s when the idea of starting his own firm took shape.

He delved into extensive market research and explored various technology-based product ideas that could reshape the lives of middle and upper-middle-class citizens in the country. Home Automation emerged as the perfect avenue to bring his vision to life. Thus, Prak Studio LLP (Previously named Fave Labs) was incepted.

“While other players existed in the market, their solutions were often prohibitively expensive. I was determined to stand out by listening closely to the end-users. I wanted to understand their needs, pinpoint areas for improvement, and gauge their perceptions of this technology,” Sai shares while recalling the firm’s inception days.
