But that is exactly what prompted Jules Fernandez to jump into real estate in 2019 and launch a now redhot practice in central Texas selling land and farm properties. She serves Milam, Williamson, Travis, Bastrop, Hays, Blanco, Lee, Caldwell, Guadalupe and Comal counties. “I felt I had two options when I learned I was going to have a baby,” recalls Jules of her decision to begin taking real estate classes. “I wanted to enjoy our new baby, but I didn’t want to keep doing what I was doing (working as a marketing director for a management company), so I felt my only option was to get into real estate. I thought it would be like a hobby.”
Now with not one but two little girls, Jules says her last two years were much more than a hobby. “They were the busiest, most profitable time of my entire life,” she says. Not only do she and her husband have two toddlers, but she is now closing an astounding average of 20 transactions a month, with more than $20 million in gross sales last year through 100 transactions as a solo agent with All City Real Estate.
