Hasty Retreat

Visiting Harvard on Feb. 4 to accept the Hasty Pudding Club’s Woman of the Year award, the White Lotus star was a little cheeky about her journey to the top. “I was a waitress for a very long time ...and waitressing was so hard,” she shared. “I started writing all of the terrible things they said to me.

I would perform the scenes at [a comedy club,] and it was life-changing to mock all the people who were so cruel and mean... I got amazing characters out of people I worked for.”

Snapping It Up

“I don’t think I’ll ever stop making romantic comedies,” said the Oscar winner at the LA premiere of Your Place or Mine, where she took time to share a few smiles with fans. “[Those movies] are very important to me.  It’s my favorite genre because it makes people feel good.”

Family Business

On Feb. 5, Michael attended the LA premiere of his film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania with wife Catherine and their son, Dylan. “I  remember after the first Ant-Man, my son looked at me very philosophically and said, ‘Dad. This could be very good for your career. You should  think about doing a sequel.’ He was right!”
