So-Easy ONE-POT PASTAS

Ask someone for their favorite one-pan recipe and they will likely come back with a tasty soup in a stockpot or a sheet pan bake with meat and vegetables. In other words, a dish that uses familiar cooking methods but happens to only need one pan. One-pot pastas, on the other hand, require a bit more creativity.

"Most pastas don't need to cook in a huge pot of boiling water. They will cook just as well in a smaller pan," says chef and author Rosie Reynolds. "Doing this will also give you an intensely starchy cooking water, which will thicken your sauce with great success." The result: a delicious pasta dinner with minimal cleanup.
