NOTORIOUS caged “cannibal” serial killer Robert “Brain Eater” Maudsley felt so starved for attention that after prison bigwigs took away his TV, books and PlayStation game, he went on a hunger strike, say sources.
While the items don’t cost an arm and a leg, apparently they’re a big deal to the 71-year-old inmate, also nicknamed Hannibal the Cannibal, who has been in a British slammer for 49 years.
Like Hannibal Lecter in the flick The Silence of the Lambs, Maudsley is stewing in an 18-x-14-foot glass cell inside West Yorkshire’s Wakefield Prison after guards punished him by taking away his entertainment.
