TROUBLED inmate Lashawn Thompson died in horror — gruesomely “eaten alive” by thousands of ravenous bed bugs in a filthy Georgia prison cell where he was tossed and forgotten on a simple misdemeanor arrest, a furious relative charges.

Now Thompson’s kin is suing Fulton County Jail officials for keeping him in a “horrible” cell that “was not fit for a diseased animal,” says attorney Michael Harper.

While the local medical examiner ruled the 35-yearold’s cause of death is “undetermined” and found “no obvious signs of trauma” on the body, the official chillingly described Thompson’s corpse as “covered in bed bugs.”
