PRO football legend Brett Favre has made a shocking confession the 55-year-old former quarterback is battling Parkinson's disease and suffering memory loss.

The Green Bay Packers Super Bowl winner dropped the bombshell at a hearing before the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee.

"I've recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's," he says, while adding he'd lost money investing in a bogus firm that was supposedly working on a cure for brain damage due to head injuries.

Parkinson's is an incurable nerve disorder that causes muscle stiffness and tremors and wrecks balance and the ability to walk. It has been linked to concussions.
