TV DETECTIVE Michael Weatherly is loving his slim, hunky new bod, but sources say it has ballooned his already monster ego — and the NCIS stud is swaggering around, acting more important and entitled than ever!

Eight years after he split from the original series, the 56-year-old actor returns to the popular NCIS franchise in the new spinoff Tony & Ziva, with co-star Cote de Pablo, 45, as his love interest.

The 6-foot-2 hunk had reportedly blown up from his 200-pound fighting weight to 250 pounds and admits he had to lose some lard before slipping back into his heroic character, Tony DiNozzo.

“We do a lot of running” on the show, he says, so the pounds had to come off.
