Suspect dangles from utility lines in failed escape

ACCUSED thief Romando E. Stanley A led cops on a merry chase - including a lame attempt to cross a street from one rooftop to another using the telephone wires strung between the buildings.

Instead of a circus acrobat, Stanley ended up looking like a clown as he fell into the arms of waiting firefighters and police in Vancouver, Wash.

The bizarre chase began after cops were notified about a man breaking into a vehicle, stealing some stuff and then running into a yard where he swiped a bicycle.
