JOINED BY PREGNANT BEATRICE SARAH, DUCHESS OF YORK CELEBRATES TWO ANNIVERSARIES IN ONE

It may not seem out of the ordinary that Sarah, Duchess of York should choose to mark her 65th birthday with a glamorous lunch in the heart of London’s Mayfair.

But there was double the reason to celebrate last week, as she spent her special day helping the Lady Garden Foundation mark its tenth anniversary – and raise vital funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity – alongside a host of VIPs.

Sarah arrived with her elder daughter Princess Beatrice, who announced earlier this month that she is expecting her second child.

Beatrice, 36, told HELLO! – who joined famous faces including actresses Elizabeth Hurley and Dame Joan Collins at the event – that she was “feeling good”.

Sarah, who was thrilled to be given a birthday cake with candles, is passionate about the work of the charity, which was co-founded in 2014 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Tamara Beckwith Veroni and friends.

“I think it’s important to amplify the voice for gynae health, and I thinkLadyGardenisrevolutionising health,” Sarah told us.
