With her sunny disposition and seemingly limitless energy, actress Ashley Park is getting the very best out of life and she's forever encouraging others - her fans in particular - to embrace their own individuality.
As the 32-year-old star of the new comedy film Joy Ride introduces her exclusive collection of Skechers footwear, following her earlier collaboration for their Uno trainers, she talks to HELLO! about confidence, finding her own sense of style through her roles and the joy of making others laugh...
Ashley, how does it feel to be collaborating for Skechers x Ashley Park: Street Glam?
"Since we launched our first campaign, I've been so excited to design a shoe that felt elevated and works with any outfit. The shoes are vibrant, but with a neutral base, meaning they're versatile enough to be worn in various situations and vibes.
"It feels so good to extend my partnership with Skechers by debuting a collection that comes from my own fashion story."
What was the inspiration behind the design?
"I've always felt there's something super chic and elevated about pointed shoes, whether loafers or heels, and I realised I hadn't seen many pointy sneakers around. I brought the idea to Skechers and was so thrilled they were willing to take a risk and say: 'Let's do this for the first time. I've always loved to take risks to pave a path that way - especially in fashion.
"I've been wearing the shoes around and people on the streets ask: 'Where did you get them?' so I really can't wait to share them with the world.
"I love that the Street Glam shoes have a little bit of height, yet still feel sporty and are super comfortable. With the colours we've incorporated into this collaboration, there's brightness, but there's also a certain level of chic, too.
"I was so excited to work on a Skechers shoe that feels fresh, edgy, and sleek."
