NEARLY THREE DECADES AFTER THE BRUTAL CHRISTMAS DAY MURDER OF COLORADO CHILD BEAUTY QUEEN JONBENÉT RAMSEY, A SHOCKING SUSPECT HAS EMERGED-A SELF-PROCLAIMED HITMAN WHO CONFESSED TO THE CRIME OVER 20 YEARS AGO, BUT BUNGLING COPS FAILED TO INVESTIGATE!
JonBenét's hired killer CONFESSED TO HER DAD!

The National ENQUIRER can exclusively reveal the suspect, known under the alias David Cooper, described himself as a professional killer hired by a disgruntled ex-employee of JonBenét's father, John Ramsey.

For the first time ever, this publication can confirm Cooper first contacted John in a series of phone calls and provided chilling details about the Ramsey family home that had never been made public. Cooper went as far as describing specific items in the house, including a red model airplane on John's desk.

This explosive development reignites one of America's most haunting murder mysteries and has her grieving father blasting the Boulder Police Department for ignoring critical evidence and refusing to act on credible leads.

"My main objective in talking to him was trying to figure out if he was the killer who was in our house," John, 80, recounts in an exclusive interview with The ENQUIRER.

"I said there is a little model airplane on my desk, what color was it? And he said, 'red.' And I said OK, the color is red.

"So, I was thinking this guy is legit, and I called the police, but they weren't interested in following up on it!"

John and a friend found JonBenét's body in the basement wine cellar. The angelic six-year-old had been strangled and beaten and there were signs of sexual abuse.

COOPER ALSO GAVE A DETAILED ACCOUNT OF HOW HE ALLEGEDLY COMMITTED THE CRIME.

He claimed he snuck into the Ramsey home on Dec. 25, 1996, through an unlocked side door and hid in a basement closet until the family went to sleep.

"He says he killed JonBenét and wrote the infamous ransom note, and the unmatched DNA evidence found on JonBenét's body will match him," the Ramseys' late private investigator Ollie Gray told The ENQUIRER before his death.
