Same maneater rips up four people playing in the surf
TEXAS SHARKNADO!

THE Fourth of July turned into a nightmare scene straight out of Jaws when four people were attacked by the same maneating shark in the waters off Texas’ South Padre Island!

“It’s unprecedented here on South Padre Island,” says local fire chief Jim Pigg.

In the most terrifying incident, the six-foot bull shark tore off a woman’s calf, then stalked her as she screamed for help and struggled to shore while her husband fought off the beast!

Tabatha Sullivent, of Celina, says she’s lucky to be alive after the saw-toothed predator chomped down on her left leg while she was in shallow water.

“I can’t imagine I actually had a shark attack,” says Tabatha, 47. “It’s kind of crazy!”

She had ventured out past a sand bar when she saw something dark in the water.

“I thought it was a big fish, and I was going to kick it away,” she recalls. “That’s when it grabbed me. Had I not pulled my legs up, it probably would’ve got my torso or something else.”

Still, she was able to start swimming toward the beach “with one leg and my arms.”
